FE is the best age. CE is second best and you’ll sit there right at home with your stats. In a 2nd city i have 300/250 in CE and for reference GE4/50 attrition are not a huge problem to get to. CE is awesome, all you need are anti-aircraft vehicles (I think that's what they're called).

Once you're in Iron Age though, it's a good strategy to stay there for a while. I play in an Iron Age world and by the time I will feel ready to leave I'll have been there well over a year. Iron Age is especially great to camp in if you do a lot of recurring quests. Keep working on your Zeus and get it to level 10.

FE was the best era until the recent nerf to Hover Tanks. With their Reactive Armor (can only take up to 4 points of damage with any hit) + and Stealth (on plains) they were viable even up in OF. With the removal of Reactive Armor for Force Field (absorbs 2 points of damage) they are still very strong, but not where they were by any means.
